DEPARTMENT OF WOMEN, YOUTH AND PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

The Department intends to appoint Technical Monitor and Data Capturer consultants on Gender Responsive Planning, Budgeting, Monitoring, Evaluation and Auditing Framework (GRPBMEAF) and National Strategic Plan on Gender Based Violence and Femicide (NSP on GBVF) in seven provinces (Gauteng, Western Cape, North West, Limpopo, Northern Cape, Mpumalanga and Free State). The purpose of the positions is to support provinces in the implementation of GRPBMEAF and NSP on GBVF, through monitoring, evaluation, reporting, coordination, mobilisation and capacity building. Appointed consultants will report to their allocated supervisors in the respective provinces.

Candidates will be appointed as consultants, paid on an hourly basis, linked to the duration of project, performance and subject to sustained donor funding of the projects. Appointment will be from assumption of duties to 31 March 2024, renewable on an annual basis, linked to availability of funding from the EU Support Programme as well as performance. Accordingly, appointed consultants will not be entitled to additional benefits applicable to public service employees. Consultants will be responsible for personal expenditure related to accommodation and subsistence. All authorised project-related expenditure shall be covered by the Department.
