Job Description:

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is offering an exciting opportunity in our Strategy & Performance department. We are seeking talented individuals with relevant skills and experience to join us as an Analytics and Insights Intern. This internship will provide you with 12 months of valuable work experience and knowledge acquisition in the field of Analytics and Insights within the Strategy Department. As an intern, you will report directly to the Analytics and Insights Lead.

Key Purpose Statement:

The main objective of this internship is to provide you with practical exposure and training in Analytics and Insights, enabling you to contribute effectively to the Strategy Department.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• As an Analytics and Insights Intern, you will support the Analytics & Insights team with the following tasks:

• Interacting with stakeholders to understand their data analytics and visualization requirements.

• Extracting, processing, analyzing, and converting data into useful formats for sharing with stakeholders.

• Guiding and informing strategic initiatives, operational planning, and decision-making using modern tools and predictive models.

• Building expertise in diverse and emerging technologies, concepts, and principles for predictive analytics, data visualization, and data storage.

• Implementing continuous improvements to existing reporting requirements or processes through automation or migration to modern platforms.

• Deriving insights that can drive business improvement and identify new opportunities.

Skills, Experience & Education:

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of a relevant Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, engineering, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
• Relevant work experience would be an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge and experience with visualization tools, such as Power BI.
• Programming skills in Python and/or R, SAS.
• Familiarity with cloud services like Azure.
