Boxer Superstores is seeking dynamic and hardworking General Workers to join our East London Distribution Centre in Wilsonia. At Boxer, we have multiple roles available in Receiving, Picking, Loading, Cycle Counting, Forklift Operations, Reach Truck Operations, Auditing, and Combining. These positions are crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution center, and we are looking for dedicated individuals to be part of our team.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- General Worker: Manage overstocked, damaged, and short-dated items by returning them to the Distribution Centre promptly.
- Picker: Pick stock for stores accurately based on picking slips.
- Cycle Counter: Monitor and maintain stock quantities in the warehouse.
- Forklift Driver: Load and offload trucks, and stack pallets efficiently.
- Reach Truck Driver: Operate reach trucks and manage pallet placement on racks.
- Auditor: Count stock, verify for damages, and ensure accurate expiry dates before dispatching to stores.
- Combiner: Combine stock on pallets and shrink-wrap them for store delivery.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Grade 12 / National Certificate.
- Experience: 0-2 years of warehouse experience.
- Skills: Basic proficiency in Excel, attention to detail, good communication, ability to work under pressure, teamwork, and basic mathematical skills.
- Shifts: Availability to work day and night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Licenses: Forklift or Reach Truck license (for specific roles).
