Department of Communications Announces Internship Programme (24 Months)
The Department of Communications (DoC) is seeking qualified candidates for a 24-month internship program starting April 1, 2025, and ending March 31, 2027. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates to gain valuable experience in the exciting field of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) policy and development.

Broadcasting Policy InternAssist with developing and researching broadcasting policy.National Diploma/B-degree in Communications, Public Policy, and/or Political Science.
Broadband InternSupport the development and implementation of broadband policy initiatives.National Diploma/B-degree in Finance and/or Accounting.
Information Society and Development InternContribute to projects related to the Information Society and digital development.National Diploma/B-degree in Digital Transformation and Technologies.
BBI and SITA InternGain experience in overseeing ICT activities of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) and the State Information Technology Agency (SITA).National Diploma/B-degree in Finance and/or Information Communication Technology.
SOE Communications and Broadcasting and Community Media InternAssist with overseeing communication and broadcasting activities of SOEs and community media.National Diploma/B-degree in Financial Accounting and/or Public Finance.
ICT International Affairs – Multilateral InternWork on international relations and multilateral affairs related to ICT.National Diploma/B-degree in International Relations, Economics, and/or Social Sciences.
Financial Management InternGain experience in financial management practices within the DoC.Requirements to be announced
All positions offer a monthly stipend of R8776.50 and are located in Pretoria, Hatfield.
