Job Description: SASOL GENERAL WORKER
Sasol, a global integrated chemicals and energy company, seeks a General Worker to join their Mining team in Secunda. As a Maintenance Operator, you will provide effective equipment maintenance assistance, ensuring safety and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete job-specific tasks/checklists accurately
- Conduct visual inspections, adhering to safety standards
- Apply SOPs and COPs for housekeeping
- Collaborate as a team member
- Identify cost-saving initiatives
- Report task activities
- Assist artisans with daily tasks
Requirements:
- Grade 12/N3 qualifications (Maths and Science advantageous)
- Valid Driver’s License (advantageous)
- 12 months plant experience on conveyors (desirable)
- Knowledge of the mining industry (beneficial)
Competencies:
- Functional/Technical: Conveyors, written information interpretation
