Job Advert Summary | Responsible and accountable for Rand Water sports and recreation procedure formulation, implementation, and monitoring in line with Rand Water processes and Employee Wellness Policy. Manage effective sports and recreation leadership structures in Rand Water. Identifying events opportune to Rand Water partnership and participation by spearheading partnership and alliance with other Corporates, Regional and National sporting bodies. |
Minimum Requirements | Diploma in Sports and Recreation/ Human Resources or equivalentExperience in coordinating sports and recreation activities Experience in implementing Employee Wellness policies and proceduresKnowledge of SAPAbility to work under pressure with diverse group of individualsRequired to travel and work over weekends and overtime |
Primary Duties | Sports and Fitness procedure formulation and implementationSports budget and control in line with Rand Water finance processes Co-ordinate and monitor the effective use of sporting and recreational facilities at all sites in line with Rand Water’s sporting, recreational and transformation objectives.Provide a holistic management of all the Rand Water affiliated Clubs via the leadership of the Sports and Recreation Sites Club Committees Coordinate and ensure Rand Water representation in National sports i.e Comrades Marathon, Cape Town cycling tour, Amashova etc by supporting employees participating in such events Provide administrative duties to all affiliated members.Manage all site sports executive committeesCoordinate Rand Water Sports council meetingsCreate positive corporate awareness on all matters of sports and recreation both internally and externally.Sports asset acquisition and managementDesign and implement sports programmes to enhance performance of employees who participate in National events |
