Short Description / Purpose of Job
To reduce the diameter of a lead stubby and to cut delay elements into the required cut lengths. Compliance with all SHERQ procedures in daily operations.
Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities
- Assemble the machines for production. (The 2 machines – Draw Bench & Traub)
- Do quality checks on delay and cut element to ensure that all units meet the specified cut length
- Housekeeping to maintain 5s standards
- Do stock count of all the raw material in the production area
- Reduction of delay stubby into a required diameter using draw bench machines
- Do visual inspection and use relevant measurement tools and capture information on the Lot Traveller
- Do fault findings on the machines for any deviations from the setup
- Completion of production documents
- Movement of cut elements into the heated storage area

Formal Education
Grade 12 with Maths and Science
