Are you an Instrument Fitter seeking a rewarding opportunity? The SAS Simonsberg: Diving School, Simon’s Town, has an opening for an Artisan Foreman (Instrument Fitter). The ideal candidate will possess:
- Appropriate Trade Test Certificate.
- 5 years of post-qualification experience as an Artisan.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Skills Required:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in problem-solving, planning, and organizing.
- Knowledge of Project and Change Management.
- Competence in computer-aided technical applications.
- Ability in technical report writing.
- Understanding of legal compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform OSIS related tasks.
- Maintain diving equipment and conduct equipment upkeep.
- Deliver lectures on diving equipment.
- Analyze breathing gases and conduct tests on fittings and hoses.
- Allocate tasks and oversee work performance.
- Interpret technical drawings and manage miscellaneous stores.
- Provide factual and technical advice.
- Supervise, train subordinates, and maintain a safe working environment.
