Join a three-year training fellowship in cardiology at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital. Successful candidates will acquire a cardiology certificate.
Salary:
- Grade 1: R1,214,805 – R1,288,095 p.a. (all-inclusive)
- Grade 2: R1,386,095 – R1,469,883 p.a.
- Grade 3: R1,605,330 – R2,001,927 p.a.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications for HPCSA registration as a Medical Specialist.
- Current HPCSA registration for 2023/2024.
- Exposure in the public sector preferred, covering clinical service, teaching, and research.
- Experience ranges: Grade 1 (0-5 years), Grade 2 (5-10 years), Grade 3 (10-15 years).
- Skills: Leadership, communication (verbal and written), conflict resolution, adaptability, and teamwork.
Duties:
- Deliver comprehensive clinical services.
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
- Supervise and train Medical Registrars.
- Conduct research projects.
- Uphold quality standards and departmental policies.
- Manage patients and administrative duties.
- Act as a role model for students and staff.
- Attend meetings to support teaching and research.
