OPERATOR SYSTEMATIC CLEANING – REF: OPSY- JWEX366/2022
REMUNERATION: R223 404 BASIC SALARY PER ANNUM
PURPOSE
Supervise a team of workers in the daily systematic cleaning of sewer lines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prevent the sewer blockages by cleaning with the rods and blockage machine. Cutting roots and grass in the sewer manhole, channels and benching. Clean site where there is sewer spillages. Ensure all work is carried out within statutory safety conditions as laid down in the legislation. Maintain good communication with external customers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Essential qualifications and experience:
• Grade 9/ABET Level 4 (Numeracy and Literacy) NQF 1
• 3 years’ experience in operation and maintenance of sewer reticulation.
• Code 10 plus PrPD.
